Sony Xperia 1 V Announced and Listed on the Brand’s Official Website: Pre-Orders Have Started
The much-awaited Sony Xperia 1 V has been launched and listed on the brand’s official website in the US. The pre-orders have also started.

Sony’s latest smartphone, the Sony Xperia 1 V is a 5G device and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset which has a primary clock speed of 3.2GHz. The smartphone also runs on the Android 13-based operating system and has the Adreno 740 GPU equipped with it.
For its display, the smartphone features an OLED display panel with a screen size of 6.5 inches and a screen resolution of 1644 x 3840 pixels. It also has a refresh rate of 120Hz.
Now coming to its cameras, the smartphone at its rear sports a triple camera setup with a 48MP main camera, 12MP telephoto camera and a 12MP ultrawide camera. For selfies, the device at its front has a front-facing camera of 12MP.
Regarding its battery backup, the smartphone is backed by a 5000 mAh battery which supports a fast charge support of 33W.
The device will be available in two storage options with a RAM of 12GB and two internal storage options of 256GB and 512 GB. The device also offers three colour choices of Black, Khaki Green and Platinum Silver.

Currently, only the 12GB/256GB variant with colour choices of Black and Khaki Green has been listed for pre-orders and will be available at a price of $1,399.
As a launch offer, customers will also be able to receive Sony’s LinkBuds TWS earbuds for free. With Affirm monthly payments, customers can also avail of an EMI facility with the benefit of getting to pay the entire amount as four-part payments.
The smartphone is also now available in the European market as well and prior to this was launched and listed on Sony’s official flagship store in China.
