Sony Xperia 1 V Launched and Listed on Sony’s Official Flagship Store in China: Pre-Orders Started

Sony’s latest smartphone, the Sony Xperia 1 V has been launched and now is listed on the brand’s official flagship store in China, revealing the specifications of the device. The pre-orders of the device have also begun.

The latest Sony Xperia 1 V is a flagship offering from the brand and comes equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, offering its users 35% better performance and 40% more power efficiency. The GPU performance has also been improved to about 25% with lower GPU power consumption of 45%. The heat dissipation material area of the device has also been increased to 60%, thereby offering better cooling on the device.

Sony’s latest flagship offering will have a RAM of 12GB along with two internal storage options of 256GB and 512 GB.

Coming to its display, the smartphone features an OLED display with no notch or a punch hole, offering its users a large 21:9 widescreen display with 4K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The device is also equipped with Sony’s X1 graphics engine for mobile devices and supports 4K HDR technology. It also has a contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1.

Regarding the cameras, the device offers a triple camera setup at its back, which is powered by the brand’s new generation Exmor T image sensor. The rear camera features a 16mm super wide-angle lens, a 24mm wide-angle lens, and an 85mm – 125mm telephoto lens. At the front, the device also offers a 24mm wide-angle lens for selfies. All the lenses used at the rear are Zeiss T lenses.

Now about its battery backup, Sony’s Xperia 1 V smartphone is powered by a 5000 mAh battery and supports a fast charging feature with which its users can charge up the device to 50% from 0% in just 30 minutes.

The pre-order of the device has already begun and customers can order the latest Sony Xperia 1 V at the brand’s official flagship store in China by paying CNY 500 as a deposit and paying the rest of the amount on the 31st of May when the open sales start. Extra discounts and gifts will also be rewarded to the customers who pre-order the device.

Sony’s Xperia 1 V will be available in three color choices of black, green, and silver and is priced at a starting price point of CNY 9,999.
