Sony Xperia 5 V promotional video leaked ahead of the launch, reveals change in camera setup
After the successful launch of the Sony Xperia 1 V flagship phone, Sony is gearing up for the launch of the Xperia 5 V smartphone this year. As Xperia 5 series phones are launched in the second half of every year, it’s also expected to launch Xperia 5 V around the same time this year. Recently the same smartphone was spotted on the 3C certification, but nothing was revealed as to what it will support in terms of charging specs. But it was revealed earlier thanks to the Geekbench listing that it will support Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset with 16 GB of RAM and Android 13 OS. As of now the company has not made any official remarks regarding this smartphone but its promotional video has been leaked on Reddit.
Let’s get to know about the specs and design specs revealed in the video.
This video has been leaked by a Reddit user named JB2unique. And the video shows that Xperia 5 V’s front design will be similar to its predecessor whereas there will be a notable difference on the rear. This smartphone will sport a dual camera setup on the rear side instead of three.
It can’t be said whether Sony Xperia 5 V has dropped its telephoto or ultra-wide camera. And this is the first time in the series that Sony is not offering the triple camera setup which may bring a drop in price than previous models of the series. The ZEISS T symbol is retained suggesting the anti-glare coating will be present once again.
In the video, the smartphone can be seen having a 3.5mm headphone jack. As far as colour options are concerned this smartphone will be launched in three colour options shown in the video white, blue, and black. As soon as other specs come out we will notify you so till then stay tuned with The Tech Outlook.
