Tecno Camon 30, Camon 30 5G, Camon 30 Pro 5G battery capacities, charging speeds revealed; Camon 30 bags TDRA certification

Tecno is expected to announce the Tecno Spark 20 Pro 5G at the upcoming MWC 2024 event. It appears that after the Spark 20 series, the company may shift its focus to the Camon 30 lineup, which is expected to include camera-focused mid-range phones. The Camon 30, 4G LTE device that bears the CL6 model number, has received approval from the UAE’s TDRA authority. In addition, the Declaration of Conformity listing on Tecno’s website has revealed the battery size and charging capabilities of the other Camon 30 series models.

Camon 30 lineup EEC certification

In November 2023, the Camon 30 series of smartphones appeared in the database of the EEC certification platform. It revealed that the Camon 30, Camon 30 5G, Camone 30 Pro 5G, and Camon 30 Premier 5G have model numbers, such as CL6, CL7, CL8, and CL9, respectively.

Shown above is the screenshot of the TDRA listing of the Camon 30. The said device has also been approved by the FCC authority. The FCC certification has revealed it is a 4G LTE device and packs a 5,000mAh battery. While these certifications do not reveal anything significant about the device, they do suggest that its launch may not be far away.

The Declaration of Conformity listings of the Camon 30, Camon 30 5G, and Camon 30 Pro 5G reveal that they will pack a 5,000mAh battery. The listings also reveal that these devices will ship with a U700TKA power adapter that supports up to 70W fast charging.

As far as the Camon 30 Premier 5G is concerned, it was recently spotted at the TUV certification with a 5,000mAh battery. The device is speculated to come with other specs, such as the Dimensity 8200 chip, 12 GB of RAM, Android 13, and 70W fast charging. As can be seen in the above screenshots, the Camon 30 5G (bearing variants CL7, CL7k, CL7s) and Camon 30 Pro 5G have also been certified by TUV Rheinland. Apart from the battery size, the TUV listings do not reveal anything else about their specifications. TUV has not yet approved the Camon 30 (4G).
