Well, we are not even done with the day yet, and again this budget smartphone from Tecno called Spark Go 2024 has again made its appearance on the Google Play Console with a model number BG6-IN. This is going to be the successor of the Tecno Spark GO 2023 which was launched earlier this year. In the morning it was spotted on the Thailand’s NBTC certification hinting at an imminent launch.
Now let’s dig into what we found in the listing
As per the listing, the phone is set to be powered by a Unisoc Tiger T606 processor, coupled with 3GB of RAM (approximately 2.8 – 2.9 GB usable). It will also feature an ARM Mali G57 GPU clocked at 650 MHz. The listing further reveals that it will run on Android 13 out of the box, with a screen resolution of 720×1612 and a screen density of 320 (xhdpi).
The CPU configuration includes 2x ARM Cortex-A75 cores clocked at 1600 MHz, and 6x ARM Cortex-A55 cores also running at 1600 MHz.
Tecno is going to feature a punch-hole camera design, as indicated by the design renders on the Google Play Console. This is a departure from the Tecno Spark Go 2023, which comes with a waterdrop-notch camera. Additionally, it is expected to be powered by a 4900 mAh battery and will have Bluetooth 5.0 capabilities.
Rest of the information is still under wraps and since it has appeared on multiple certifications, it looks like we may hear an official announcement soon from Tecno.
