Tecno Spark Slim Concept Phone Unveiled as World’s Slimmest Phone With 5200 mAh+ Battery: To be Showcased at MWC 2025
Tecno has now introduced a new Spark Slim concept phone as the world’s slimmest phone with a 5200 mAh+ battery within. The demo units of this device will also be showcased and presented at the upcoming MWC 2025 event scheduled to take place early next month.

As pointed out, Tecno’s Spark Slim is a concept phone that has now been unveiled by the brand, and it is claimed to be the world’s slimmest 5200 mAh+ battery phone with a thickness of 5.75 mm. Furthermore, the device is revealed to feature a 6.78″ 3D curved AMOLED display screen, dual 50MP cameras, and a futuristic design language.
Speaking more, the display supports 1224p resolution and 144Hz refresh rate, and is capable of attaining a peak brightness of 4500 nits. Also, along with the two 50MP cameras, a 13MP selfie camera is also a part of the device. Its battery is mentioned to be 4.04 mm thick, and it is said to support 45W wired fast charging. The processor that will be used is also suggested to be an octa-core processor, however it hasn’t been disclosed yet.
While the launch date for this device hasn’t been shared, Tecno has confirmed that it will be showcased during the MWC 2025 event that is to be conducted from 3rd March 2025 ~ 6th March 2025, next month, at Booth 6B11. Possibly, if the device hits the market, it could be having a design different from the concept phone.
Just to add, both Samsung and Apple also have upcoming slim form factor devices too. Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Edge has already been showcased once at the Galaxy Unpacked event held last month in January 2025 (for introducing the Galaxy S25 series), and it is said to have a 6.4 mm thickness. On the other hand, Apple’s iPhone 17 Air is believed to have a thickness of 5.5 mm at its thinnest point. It should also be noted that the now-launched Find N5 foldable smartphone of OPPO has an unfolded thickness of 4.2 mm ( and folded thickness of 8.9 mm).
