The budget-friendly Redmi A2 series launched in India today, smartphones to go on sale from May 23
Xiaomi has been famous in India for introducing affordable devices that offer minimal features to at a price that doesn’t harm the budget or bank account of the buyers. Today Xiaomi has launched the Redmi A2 series in India which include- Redmi A2 and Redmi A2 Plus.
Redmi A2 series: Pricing & Availability
Redmi A2 comes with only one variant 4GB+64GB and is priced at Rs.8,499 while Redmi A2 Plus arrives with three storage variants- 2GB+32GB priced at Rs.5,999, 2GB+64GB is priced at Rs. 6,499 and 4GB+64GB is priced at Rs.7,499.
Both smartphones are available in 3 colors- sea green, calming Aqua Blue, and classic black. The smartphone can be purchased from Amazon, Mi.com, Mi Home, and retail stores.
Redmi A2 series: Specifications and features
Both the devices are almost identical to each other. The smartphone sports a 6.52-inch display with a 120 Hz touch sampling rate. They are powered by MediaTek Helio G36 processor which is paired with up to 7GB RAM that includes 3GB virtual RAM and up to 64GB internal storage.
The smartphones house a 5000mAh battery with a 10W charger. The devices pack up a rear 8MP dual camera system and 5MP front camera. The only difference between both devices is that the Redmi A2 Plus comes with a fingerprint sensor.
