The Coolest Buddy of Gen-Z “Lava Yuva 5G” launched in India, sale to start from 5th June

Lava has introduced a new smartphone in its latest offering, called the Coolest Buddy of Gen-Z, the Lava Yuva 5G. As suggested by the tagline, Lava is targeting the new Gen-Z audience with this new smartphone. Under the hood, it features a UNISOC T750 5G Octa-core Processor and runs on Android 13. Lava Yuva 5G Specs

It comes with a compact 6.52″ Punch Hole HD+ IPS Display featuring a 2.5D Curved Screen and a 90Hz Refresh Rate. Powered by a UNISOC T750 5G octa-core processor, it has achieved an AnTuTu score of 360K and runs on Android 13 OS. However, Lava could have offered Android 14 out of the box, as many other smartphone manufacturers are doing so.

Next is its camera: the rear camera includes a 50MP main AI sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor with an LED flash. The front camera features an 8MP selfie shooter with a screen flash, which uses screen brightness to illuminate in low-lighting conditions.

It has a typical 5000 mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging. According to Lava, you can achieve a 0-100% charge in 2.21 hours (133 minutes). The battery offers a total 5G talk time of 28 hours, a standby time of 445 hours, and a YouTube playback time of 8.5 hours.

In terms of connectivity, it offers WiFi 5, Bluetooth V5.0, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Other features include a side fingerprint sensor, face unlock, and battery saver mode.

Lava Yuva 5G Pricing and Availability

Lava has launched this smartphone with a single RAM option of 4GB, along with an additional 4GB of virtual RAM. However, it offers two storage options: 64GB and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. Also, you will get two color options with this smartphone, Mystic Green & Mystic Blue with a premium glass back having a matte finish. According to the official details, the starting price will be ₹9,499 for the 64GB variant and ₹9,999 for the 128GB. Sales will start on June 5th and the phone will be available on Lava’s official website and Amazon India.
