The newly launched Motorola Edge 40 receives great response in India, goes out of stock on pre-ordered quantities

After a lot of rumors, speculations, and online leaks Motorola launched the world’s slimmest smartphone- Motorola Edge 40 in India on May 23rd. The smartphone was supposed to amaze Indian consumers and tech enthusiasts but what the company didn’t expect was the immense reaction received by the consumers in India.

This newly launched device was up for pre-order from Flipkart’s official website since the day of its launch. Now just two days after its launch, the smartphone has gone out of stock in pre-order quantities. The brand has officially thanked the users for such a great response and has also informed them that the smartphone will be going on sale now from May 30.

Motorola Edge 40: Pricing & Availability

The smartphone will be made available for sale from May 30 at Rs.29,999. Interested buyers can purchase this device from Flipkart, Motorola’s official website, and Motorola’s leading retail stores.

The consumers will be getting Rs.2000 off on an exchange offer while the No Cost EMI facility will be starting at Rs.5000.

Motorola Edge 40: Specifications

The smartphone sports a 6.5-inch FHD display with a 144Hz refresh rate and offers 1200 nits peak brightness. It is the first device to feature MediaTek Dimensity 8020 processor which is paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. The device will run on Android 13 OS.

It houses a 4400mAh battery that supports 68W fast charging. The smartphone packs up a dual rear camera setup that includes 50MP main camera with OIS support and 13MP ultra wide-angle camera. Along with this, it includes 32MP front camera with Quad pixel technology.
