The Upcoming Vivo Y78+ Smartphone Spotted on Geekbench: Some of its Specs Revealed

Vivo’s upcoming smartphone in its Y series, the Vivo Y78+ has now appeared on the Geekbench listing. Some of its specifications have also been revealed with its listing on the Geekbench platform.

To add, another Vivo smartphone with the model number V2247 has also now been spotted on the TKDN certification website.

Vivo Y78+ Appears on Geekbench

The upcoming Vivo Y78+ smartphone has now made its appearance on Geekbench with a model number of V2271A. Previously the smartphone had also made its appearance on the TENAA and China’s 3C certification platforms revealing its battery capacity and charging speed.

The listing reveals that the smartphone has scored a single-core score of 670 points and a multi-core score of 1976 points.

With its appearance on the Geekbench smartphone, it has been revealed that the smartphone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset with the Android 13-based operating system. It is the 12GB RAM variant that has appeared on the Geekbench platform and we can also expect more RAM options for the device.

Coming to the architecture of the chipset, the chipset has a core configuration of 2+6 cores. The primary cores have an operating speed of 2.21GHz whereas the other 6 cores are clocked at 1.80GHz.

From its previous listing, the smartphone is confirmed to come equipped with a 5000 mAh battery with a fast charge feature of upto 44W.

To add to this, another Vivo smartphone with the model number V2247 has appeared with Indonesia’s TKDN certification. The smartphone has received the certification with a certificate number of 3497/SJ-IND.8/TKDN/4/2023 and a reference number of TKDN – 2300484 – 45312. The device has also received a TKDN value of 35.88%.

It is not yet sure whether the Vivo V2247 is a smartphone in the Vivo Y78 series or not. With the future update, we’ll be able to know more about it.

It should also be noted that the Vivo Y78 5G, another smartphone of the series, was recently spotted on Google Play supported devices list.
