There won’t be a Razr Lite Smartphone from Motorola, Claims a Well Known Tipster

A well-known tipster on Twitter has claimed on the microblogging platform that there will not be a Razr Lite smartphone from Motorola.

Let’s look more into it

Motorola Razr Lite?

A previous article which was published a month earlier had stated that Motorola is working on an affordable foldable smartphone and the report claimed that the device could possibly be the Motorola Razr Lite smartphone. The 5K renders of the device were also shared along with it and after a few days, Evan Blass(also known as @evleaks), a well-known tipster on the Twitter platform claimed that the official marketing name for the lite model will be “Motorola Razr 40”.

Now the tipster has come forward stating that there is not and never has been a Razr Lite smartphone and Motorola will not be launching such a device. The tipster had to post the tweet amidst the spread of false info in the mobile world and also wanted to give clarity about the matter, adds Evan.

Evan Blass Claims

Motorola has officially announced that the Motorola Razr 40 series will be launching on the 1st of July 2023 and the series will include the Motorola Razr 40 and the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra smartphones. However, it should be noted that the teaser video didn’t give a proper idea about the launch of the two devices and there is doubt whether both devices will be launched or just one among them.

The press renders of the Motorola Razr 40 and Razr 40 Ultra smartphones have also been revealed and Evan Blass himself shared the promo images of the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra smartphone.

Apart from mentioning about the Motorola Razr Lite, Evan Blass has also mentioned that the Taiwan-based smartphone maker, HTC had never stopped making smartphones and the stories about the company’s comeback sound ridiculous to him.

For those of you who didn’t know, HTC is about to unveil a new smartphone on the 18th of May, and is expected to be the HTC U23 Pro smartphone.
