TRAI data showed the gain and loss of total users by different telecommunication service provider

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India recently released data that showed the users gained and total users by different telecommunication service providers. If we talk about the Jio it has gained 14.26 lakh users and the total number of Jio users is now 14.28 crore. The data showed that Airtel has gained 10.56 lakh users and the total of Airtel users is now 36.60 crores. This means Jio has gained almost 4 lakhs more users than Airtel which shows the interest of users in Jio.

This huge gain of users by Jio is because of its rigorous expansion of 5G service. Recently Jio became the first telecom service provider to have a such large coverage of 5G service. But Vi is still unable to retain the existing customers. The data released by TRAI showed that Vi has lost 18.27 lakh users and the number of total users of Vi is 24.37 crore. It means one side where Vi is losing its customer’s another side is benefitting Airtel and Jio. As soon as Vodafone and Idea merged and came into the market it tried to lure customers with some of the best exciting offers and discounts. But this could not work for Vi because users were facing network issues with Vi and started switching to another service provider.
