Upcoming Honor 200 series bags 3C certification, expected to launch soon

In November 2023, Honor unveiled the Honor 100 series of smartphones in China. Recent reports have claimed that the brand is currently working on the Honor 200 lineup for the home market. It appears that an alleged Honor 200 series phone has received approval from the 3C certification platform in China. Here is a look at the details that have emerged through the 3C certification.

Honor 200 series 3C certification

The above screengrab reveals that an upcoming Honor phone with an ELP-AN00 model number has been certified by China’s 3C authority. The listing reveals that the device may ship with an HN-200500C07 / HN-200500C08 charger that offers a maximum charging speed of 100W.

There is no clarity about the final moniker of the Honor ELP-AN00 phone. However, now that the device is expected to support 100W fast charging, it seems that it could either be the Honor 200 or 200 Pro.

As per reports, the Honor 200 series may offer an improvement in the camera department as compared to the Honor 100 lineup. It is likely that the Pro variant may feature a periscope telephoto camera, a large battery, and support for satellite connectivity.

The Honor 200 series is likely to debut in May in China. The brand is likely to announce its first flip phone, tentatively called the Honor Magic Flip, in June. It is likely that the Magic V3 foldable phone will break cover in July in China.
