The Hong Kong-based consumer electronics manufacturer, Infinix, will soon be unveiling its Smart 8 series in the Indian market, and the launch date for one of the smartphones has already been confirmed. The upcoming series has now been teased officially for the Indian market.

Infinix India Teases its Smart 8 Series
The previous Smart 7 series of Infinix consisted of two smartphone devices – Smart 7 and Smart 7 HD, and both these devices were launched in India. However, do note that the Smart 7 device had an Indian variant that also debuted in the same month when the global variant of the smartphone was unveiled.
The upcoming Smart 8 series will also be having two smartphone devices – Smart 8 and Smart 8 HD, and the launch date for the Smart 8 HD in India has already been confirmed. The Smart 8 has been released in Nigeria and regarding its Indian launch, the company hasn’t revealed anything in particular yet. The Twitter/X post also mentions only one smartphone, even if it is the Smart 8 series that has been teased. Let’s wait for more updates to get clarity on the matter.

As mentioned, the launch date for the Smart 8 HD in India has been confirmed, and the device will be having its launch next month, on the 8th of December 2023. Some of its specifications have also been revealed.
Infinix Smart 8 HD – Revealed Specifications
The upcoming Infinix Smart 8 HD will feature an HD+ display panel with a screen size of 6.6″, a refresh rate of 90Hz and a brightness of 500 nits. At the rear, it has a dual camera unit and an LED flashlight, placed within a large camera module. The rear panel also has a textured design, and the smartphone will arrive in four colors – Crystal Green, Shiny Gold, Timber Black, and Galaxy White. Other features that have been revealed are the side-mounted fingerprint scanner, USB type-C charging port, and the UFS 2.2 storage.
