Here’s more about the upcoming iPhone SE 4th generation.

Apple’s Upcoming 4th Generation iPhone SE Smartphone

The upcoming Apple iPhone SE 4(codenamed Ghost), as per what has been reported, is revealed to come with the same chassis model of the previous iPhone 14 device, but with two major design changes. The first change is not a surprise and the change has also been noted in the recently launched iPhone 15 series devices.

To meet with the regulations put forward by the European Union, Apple had to replace its lightning charging port with a USB type – C port, and this change will also be coming on the next iPhone SE model.

The second change is again a replacement, and is the use of a customizable action button instead of the mute button. This change was also first brought in the latest iPhone 15 series smartphones.

Coming to the rear panel, a single rear camera unit is expected, accompanied by an LED flashlight positioned in a similar way when compared to the previous iPhone SE models. The rear camera maybe a 48MP camera lens. However, the design of the rear camera module is not known.

According to the report, it is said that Apple has developed 5 designs for the model, which fall into two different design categories. One of the categories points to a design where the rear camera and LED flash are housed within an oblong-shaped camera module. The other category suggests a design that has the camera raised from the rear panel.

Some of its other features, as stated in the report, include an OLED display panel and face ID. The 4th generation of the iPhone SE will not have a Touch ID home button.

Apple is also in the works to develop its own in-house 5G modem(codenamed Sinope) and the iPhone SE 4 is one of the devices used to test it. If we look into previous reports, it was claimed that Apple’s iPhone SE 4 is only being built for modem testing and won’t be mass produced or made available to the general public. With all the design changes on the device, the smartphone is sure not only being made for testing purposes, falsifying the previous claims.

Readers must also note that the upcoming iPhone SE 4 is still a long way away from being released or until it reaches the final making stage. There is always a chance that Apple could make a change in its models and the final product has a likely chance of being different from what has been stated above.
