Upcoming Motorola Edge 40 Neo Smartphone Key Specs, Colour Variants and European Price Revealed

Motorola is expected to launch its third Edge 40 series smartphone, the Motorola Edge 40 Neo, on the 15th of September this month and ahead of it, some of its key specifications, colour variants and European pricing have been revealed.

The upcoming Motorola Edge 40 Neo smartphone is revealed to come equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 1050 chipset and is to have the Android 13-based operating system out of the box. It will have a storage option with a RAM of 12GB and an internal storage of 256GB.

For its display, the smartphone will feature a 6.55″ pOLED display with an FHD+ screen resolution and a refresh rate of up to 144Hz.

For the cameras, it is to sport a 50MP OIS dual camera setup at its rear with an additional 13MP ultrawide camera. Regarding the selfie camera, nothing has been revealed, but previous reports suggest that it could have a 32MP front-facing camera.

The device is also revealed to be backed by a 5000 mAh battery and is likely to weigh only 170 grams. The smartphone is also said to have a dimension of 159.6 x 72 x 7.8 mm and should probably have an IP68-rated body.

Now about the colour variants, previously the 360-degree video of the smartphone in three colours was shared online and way before that, its listing on the Denmark website had revealed three colours. The render images of the different colour variants that have now been revealed are for the same colours and align with the previous reports. The upcoming smartphone will arrive in Black Beauty, Soothing Sea and Caneel Bay colours.

Regarding the price of the smartphone, the 12GB/256GB storage variant will be made available in the European market at a price of €399, as per what has been revealed.

Speaking about the previous updates concerning the smartphone, the device had made its appearance on the Geekbench database and was also spotted on Amazon’s Italian shopping website. It has also received the TDRA certification as well. Most of the above-mentioned specifications were already known to us.
