Upcoming Motorola Edge 40 Neo Spotted on the Geekbench Database: Soon to be Launched

Motorola has a few of its G series smartphones confirmed to be launched soon and now, its upcoming Edge series smartphone, the Motorola Edge 40 Neo, has been spotted on the Geekbench database.

Motorola Edge 40 Neo – Geekbench Listing

The upcoming Motorola Edge 40 Neo smartphone has received a single-core score of 3,559 points and a multi-core score of 8,508 points on the Geekbench 4 database, and its listing reveals it to operate on the Android 13-based operating system. It will also have a motherboard codenamed – Manaus and will have an 8GB RAM variant. The octa-core processor will also be having a base clock speed of 2.00 GHz.

Motorola’s Edge 40 Neo smartphone will be joining the already launched Edge 40 and Edge 40 Pro smartphones of the series and is likely going to be the successor of the previous Edge 30 Neo smartphone. The upcoming device has also been certified by the TDRA certification authority and it was listed on the Amazon Italian shopping website.

Regarding the specifications, the Amazon shopping platform revealed the device to come equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 1050 chipset and to feature a 6.55″ P-OLED display with an FHD+ screen resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. A 50MP+13MP dual camera setup is also expected at the rear of the smartphone. The device is also suggested to have a 5000 mAh battery, likely with a 67W fast charge feature. Other than the 8GB RAM variant, the Amazon listing also pointed to a 12GB/256GB storage variant as well. The TDRA certification also confirmed the smartphone to be a 5G device and it will have dual SIM support.

Its Amazon listing has also revealed a colour variant named Black Beauty and the Denmark website has revealed Neo Black Beauty, Caneel Bay, and Soothing Sea(confused with Soothing Green) colour options.

About the launch, on the Amazon shopping website, it is said that the Motorola Edge 40 Neo smartphone will be launched next month on the 15th of September 2023, and the 12GB/256GB storage variant is to be priced at €399.90 in Italy.

Just to add, as mentioned above, two G series smartphones will also be having their debut next month – Moto G84 5G – 1st September; and Moto G54 – 5th September.
