Nubia is preparing itself for the debut of the next Z60 Ultra device that is scheduled to launch next week in China, and a lot about the smartphone has been teased by the brand in the previous few days. Now, it has been revealed that this upcoming Nubia device will also be featuring an IP68-rated body as well.

Nubia Z60 Ultra – IP68 Rating
It has been officially confirmed that Nubia’s Z60 Ultra smartphone will have an IP68-rated body, pointing out that the device will be both dust and water-resistant. It will also be able to survive within water up to 1.5 meters in depth for 30 minutes.
As mentioned, in recent days, the brand has also teased features regarding the Z60 Ultra’s cameras, display, and design. The color variants and the hands-on images of the smartphone were also revealed.
Regarding some of the specifications that are known, the upcoming Nubia Z60 Ultra will likely be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset with the Android 14 based MyOS 14 custom skin onboard. It will also have a 12GB/256GB storage variant.
The device will also be featuring the brand’s fifth-generation UDC full-screen BOE Q9+ display. It will likely have a 6.8″ screen size, 1.5K resolution, and a 120Hz refresh rate. The display is also revealed to support 2.8µm ultra-large pixels and will be equipped with a UDC Ultra-independent display chip.
Coming to its camera features, the smartphone will sport a triple rear camera setup with an 18mm 50MP main wide-angle camera, 35mm 50MP camera(probably an ultrawide lens), and an 85mm 64MP periscope telephoto camera. All the cameras also support optical image stabilization(OIS). To add, the camera quality of the device was also revealed via the camera samples which were shared online.
Similar to the previous Z50 Ultra, three color variants(almost the same) will also be available for the Z60 Ultra smartphone. Customers will be offered Black, Silver/Cream, and Blue color choices.
Nubia will unveil its Z60 Ultra device on the 19th of December 2023, and we are just five days away from the launch of the smartphone. More updates might be on its way, and with the debut, the full specifications, price points, and variants of the smartphone will be revealed.
