Upcoming OnePlus 13 Smartphone Battery Life, Connectivity Features, and More Officially Teased
The OnePlus 13 flagship smartphone will be debuting in China at the end of this month and the brand has already dropped a lot about its specs and features via its official Weibo handle. Now, the battery life, connectivity features, and many more specs of the upcoming device has also been shared with its nearing launch date.

The soon-to-be-launched OnePlus 13 flagship will be packing a 6000 mAh capacity glacier battery featuring larger capacity, smaller size, and a longer lasting battery life. With a full charge, users of the OnePlus 13 smartphone will be able to enjoy 11 hours of continuous video streaming and chatting. Short videos can be watched for 19.7 hours non-stop. A full charge will also let users access cycle navigation for 7.1 hours. Even with 1% emergency charge, the device will be significantly catering to the needs of its users with 13 hours of standby, 56 minutes of text chat, 104 times bright code display, and 141 times code scanning.

Coming to its teased connectivity specs, the mobile data transfer speed has increased by 220%. Wi-Fi 7 is used for the first time, adding 20% improvement to channel transmission rate. 30% improved performance is achieved with the same power consumption and temperature rise with the super Wi-Fi low-power technology. 40% extreme throughput improvement is acquired with the self-developed near-field high-speed interconnection antenna technology.
An infrared sensor is also present on the device, enabling users to control several electronics gadgets from their phone itself. The multi-function NFC feature lets users scan on the front, back, or sides. USB 3.2 Gen 1 connectivity assures ultra-fast data transfer speed. As previously revealed, the Super Signal Project 2.0 offers Bluetooth connectivity (version 5.4) with 400 meters ultra long range and stable connectivity. The Bluetooth connectivity also offers better sound quality to wireless audio devices with ultra-high bit rate.
Additionally, the OnePlus 13 smartphone is also equipped with super linear dual speakers. Moreover, a metal sealed independent sound chamber, double ring type magnetic design, and the self-developed sound effect 2.0 industry-leading low-frequency algorithm delivers better sound quality via the speakers.

OnePlus will be unveiling its flagship 13 device as its Snapdragon 8 Elite smartphone on the 31st of October 2024, and it will be offered with up to 24GB RAM and 1TB storage. Other key specs include ColorOS 15 custom skin based on Android 15 (in China), DisplayMate A++ certified second generation 2K eye-protecting 8T LTPO oriental display with glove touch and rain touch 2.0, 50MP triple rear camera unit with HASSELBLAD Master Image, 3x periscope telephoto lens, and shadow-less capture, and 100W wired and 50W wireless magnetic charging capabilities. It will arrive in three colors – White(White Dew Morning Light), Blue(Blue Hour), and Black(Obsidian Secret Realm), and is revealed to be priced at CNY 4699.
