Upcoming Vivo S17 Receives China’s 3C Certification: Charging Specs Revealed

Vivo’s upcoming S17 series smartphone, the Vivo S17 has made its appearance on China’s 3C certification platform. Its launch in China can be expected soon.

Vivo S17 Receives 3C Certification

Vivo after the launch of the S16 series smartphones in 2022, has already started its work with the next S-series smartphones and just like the previous S16 series, the S17 series will also be including three smartphones – the Vivo S17e, Vivo S17, and Vivo S17 Pro.

We had in the past revealed the model numbers of all the S17 series smartphones and the Vivo S17 has appeared on the 3C certification platform with the model number, V2283A.

Three of its charger models have also been listed along with the smartphone with model numbers, V8073L0A0-CN, V8073L0B0-CN, and V8073L0D0-CN, and will offer a power output of 10W, 18W, and 80W respectively. This points to the fact that the upcoming Vivo S17 smartphone might probably support an 80W fast charge feature.

As the device has got listed on the 3C certification website, the smartphone’s launch is not far away and can be expected soon.

For those of you who didn’t know, the Vivo S17e has already made its appearance on the Geekbench database and also on the Google Play Supported Devices list. The camera specs of the Vivo V17 Pro smartphone have also been tipped.

Here are some of the expected specifications of the Vivo V17 smartphone

The upcoming Vivo S17 smartphone is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 778G chipset or the Snapdragon 782G chipset and is likely to operate on the Android 13-based Funtouch OS custom user interface. It might also offer 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB, and 12GB/256GB storage variants.

For its display, the smartphone is likely to feature a 1.5K OLED display panel with curved edges and should probably have a refresh rate of 120Hz.

At its rear, the smartphone may feature a dual camera setup with a 50MP Sony IMX766V main camera with OIS support(optical image stabilization) and a 12MP IMX663 telephoto camera.

It should be noted that all these specs are based on rumors and we’ll have to wait for more updates or until the launch of the smartphone to confirm these specs.
