Upcoming Xiaomi Smartphones Spotted on the European EEC Certification Website: 3 Redmi and 2 POCO Devices

Xiaomi has a long list of smartphone devices waiting in line to be launched and now, five of its upcoming smartphones have been spotted on the EEC certification platform.

Here’s more about it.

Xiaomi Smartphones Receive EEC Certification

Of the five smartphone devices that have made their appearance on the EEC certification platform, three of them are Redmi smartphones and two are POCO devices.

The three Redmi smartphones that have been spotted on the EEC database come with model numbers – 23129RAA4G, 23124RA7EO, and 23117RA68G, and have been certified by the EEC authority with the notification numbers – KZ0000006712, KZ0000006714, and KZ0000006715 respectively.

About the POCO smartphones spotted, the two devices have appeared on the certification platform with model numbers – 2312FPCA6G and 23113RKC6G, and the two smartphone devices have received the certification with the notification numbers – KZ0000006713 and KZ0000006716.

The EEC certification for all the devices will be valid till the 31st of December 2029.

From its model numbers, it is likely that four of them are global variants because of the letter “G” at the end, and the first four digits in the model numbers suggest that these devices will be launched at the end of this year, in the months of November and December of 2023.

The POCO 23113RKC6G is identified to be the global variant of the POCO F6 Pro smartphone. The POCO F6 Pro is expected to be the rebranded version of Xiaomi’s Redmi K70 Pro smartphone(model number – 23113RKC6C). The Redmi K70 Pro is likely to be a China-exclusive product and only its rebranded version will be available in the global markets. In the Indian market, however, the POCO F6 Pro will have a different model number(23113RKC6I).

We’ll have to wait until more updates arrive to recognize the other four smartphones, and as their model numbers suggest the devices to have their launch by the end of this year, we probably won’t have to wait for long.
