Vivo Announces 5.5G Connectivity Support for its Latest Flagship X-Series Devices: X Fold 3 Series & X100 Series

The Chinese consumer electronics maker, Vivo, has now officially announced the 5.5G network connectivity support for its flagship X-series in China following OPPO. The smartphones under the X Fold 3 series and X100 series will be getting the support.

This update has been shared via the official Weibo handle of Vivo and as per the poster image shared, the brand’s latest X-series smartphones will be capable of supporting 5.5G network connectivity and it is soon coming to the devices. 300% more faster network speed is the main highlight and the OTA update for it will gradually be rolled out to the X Fold 3 series and X100 series devices next month in April 2024.

In related news, OPPO, another Chinese smartphone manufacturer, had also recently announced the 5.5G network connectivity support for its flagship Find X7 series as well.

Vivo – Other Recent Updates

Vivo this month in March 2024 had unveiled many of its latest devices in different markets and the most recent among them was the V40 SE 5G smartphone’s announcement in the European market. Just two days prior to this, the brand’s X Fold 3 series, Pad 3 Pro, and the TWS 4 models were also debuted at the launch event held in China.

In the Indian market too the brand had revealed a few new smartphone devices. This includes the latest T3 5G, V30, and V30 Pro models. The Vivo Y03 launch in Indonesia is also a recent update.
