Vivo has expanded its smartphone lineup in Indonesia with the introduction of the V40 Lite 4G and V40 Lite 5G. It’s worth noting that these new V40 Lite models are different from the earlier Vivo V40 Lite launched in Europe, which was a repackaged version of the Vivo V30e. The Indonesian V40 Lite series does not share any similarities with its European namesake. And the Good part is, both of them include the charger in the box.
Vivo V40 Lite Series Specs
The V40 Lite 4G features a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 2400 x 1080 resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It’s powered by a Snapdragon 685 4G processor, while the 5G variant uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset. Both models come with 8GB RAM (expandable up to 16GB) and storage options of 128GB or 256GB (expandable up to 1TB).
Both devices sport a 50MP main camera, with the 5G version adding an 8MP wide-angle lens. They feature a 32MP front camera for selfies. The phones are equipped with a 5000mAh battery supporting 80W fast charging. Additional features include an in-display fingerprint sensor, IP64 water and dust resistance, and Funtouch OS 14 based on Android 14.

Pricing and Availability
The V40 Lite 4G is priced at IDR 3,599,000 (approximately $230) for the 8GB+128GB variant and IDR 3,699,000 (about $237) for the 8GB+256GB model. The V40 Lite 5G is available at IDR 4,299,000 (around $275) for the 8GB+256GB version. Both models are available in Titanium Silver and Carbon Black colors, with the 4G version also offering a Pearl Violet option.
