Vivo Pad Air pre-order set to begin on August 14, variants emerge on Jingdong Mall
Yesterday, Vivo China’s Vice President Jia Jingdong revealed the upcoming Vivo Pad Air to the world. Today, the brand confirmed that it is receiving pre-orders of the tablet starting Aug. 14 in China. People in the home market can visit Vivo China’s online store or other retailer sites, such as Jingdong Mall, to pre-order the device. The JD listing of the device has revealed the variants of the tablet.
Vivo Pad Air variants
As can be seen in the above screengrab, the JD listing of the Vivo Pad Air has confirmed that it will arrive in four configurations, such as 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage, 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage, and 12 GB RAM + 512 GB storage. The more powerful Vivo Pad 2, which features the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip, also comes in the same variants.
The Vivo Pad Air will be available in three shades, such as Free Blue, Brave Pink, and Easy Silver. It appears that the base variant of the Pad Air could be priced at around CNY 2,000 (~$273).
Vivo Pad Air specifications
The Vivo Pad Air is confirmed to feature an 11.5-inch LCD panel that offers a 2.8K resolution, a 3:2 aspect ratio, and a 144Hz refresh rate. The tablet runs on Android 13 and a tablet optimised version of OriginOS 3.0. For audio, the tablet offers a quad-speaker system. In addition, the tablet comes with support for the Vivo Pencil 2.
The Pad Air 2 is powered by the Snapdragon 870 chipset and an 8,500mAh battery, which supports 44W fast charging. The tablet weighs 530 grams and has a thickness of 6.67mm.
