Vivo S17e appears on Geekbench with Dimensity 7200, 8GB RAM
In our exclusive report from last month, we revealed the model numbers that belong to the Vivo S17 series. As per our report, the S17 and S17 Pro have model numbers V2283A and V2284A. The S17e has the V2285A model number. Now, the S17e has appeared on Geekbench to reveal some of its key specifications.
As can be seen in the screengrab, the Vivo S17e has appeared with model number V2285A on Geekbench. The listing reveals that the device is powered by a MediaTek MT6886 chipset, which has six CPU cores working at 2.000GHz and two cores clocked at 2.80GHz.
The source code of the Geekbench listing reveals that the chipset includes the Mali-G61 MC4 GPU. These details are enough to state that the S17e is equipped with the Dimensity 7200 chipset.
The listing further shows that the S17e has 8 GB of RAM and Android 13 OS. On Geekbench 5, the device scored 873 in the single-core test, and it recorded a score of 2350 in the multi-core test.
The only other phone that features the D7200 chip is the Vivo V27 5G. There is a possibility that the S17e could be a rebranded or tweaked version of the V27. As far as the Vivo S17 and S17 Pro smartphones are concerned, recent reports have revealed that these devices are equipped with the Snapdragon 778G (or 782G) and Dimensity 8200 chipsets, respectively. Rumors are rife that the Vivo S17 series will launch in May in China.
