Vivo S18 and S18 Pro camera features officially revealed ahead of their launch on 14th December

The smartphone brand Vivo is all set to unveil its latest Vivo S18 series in China on 14th December 2023. The series is said to arrive with three smartphones- Vivo S18, Vivo S18 Pro and Vivo S18e. These upcoming devices have been making their appearances online quite a few times now and the company has also started teasing the design and features of the upcoming series.

Today Vivo has officially revealed some of the major camera specs of the upcoming Vivo S18 series. The upcoming Vivo S18 and Vivo S18 Pro smartphones under the series will feature a 50MP front camera with adjustable soft dual-LED flash.

The rear camera setup of Vivo S18 Pro is also revealed as per which the device will pack up 50MP VCS Sony IMX920 main camera with OIS (same as Vivo X100), 50MP Samsung JN1 ultra-wide camera and 12MP IMX663 telephoto camera (same as Vivo X90s). It will also include an adjustable Aura LED flashlight. With the help of VCS human eye bionic technology, the image purity is improved by up to 1/4.

Apart from this the brand also promises that the upcoming Vivo S18 series will offer studio-level photography experience to users.

Vivo S18 series: Specifications (expected)

The Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset will power the S18 smartphone and will be packing an ultra-thin 5000 mAh battery while the S18 Pro is said to be equipped with the Dimensity 9200+ chipset. The S18e will be 7.69mm thin with a flat display and is to be backed by a 4800 mAh battery supporting 80W fast charging.

There are still a few days left for the official launch of this series hence it is expected that in the coming days, the brand might reveal more details regarding the Vivo S18 series.
