Vivo S18 series officially confirmed to arrive with 5000 mAh battery and up to 16GB+512GB storage configuration; display specs and chipset also revealed

The Chinese smartphone brand Vivo will be officially unveiling its latest Vivo S18 series in its home country on 14th December. Ahead of the official launch of this series, the brand has been teasing the design of the upcoming smartphones under this series while a few of the camera specs of the upcoming series have also been confirmed by the brand.

The company has once again confirmed some of the key specs of the upcoming series through the Weibo platform, let’s take a look.

As officially confirmed by the brand, the Vivo S18 will be powered by a 5000 mAh ultra-thin blue ocean battery that arrives with 13.5 hours of battery life. Also, the company has claimed that the battery arrives with 4 years of endurance life and promises 4 years of free battery replacement. Vivo S18 is also revealed to be 7.45 mm thick and weighs 185.8g.

Vivo S18 will be arriving with three storage configurations. Starting from 12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB and up to 16GB+512GB. Along with these storage configurations, the smartphone will arrive with memory expansion up to 16GB and storage compression up to 50 GB. Users can store up to 10,000 HD pictures and the highest retention of 49 apps in the background.

Vivo S18 Pro is revealed to arrive with a sunrise eye protection screen that offers a 120 Hz refresh rate and 2800 nits peak brightness. The smartphone arrives with a display that is equipped with wet-touch technology. Also as mentioned by Vivo, Vivo S18 Pro’s display has received three SGS professional eye care certifications.

Other than this Vivo also has revealed the chipset details of the upcoming series. As per which Vivo S18 will be powered by Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset while Vivo S18 Pro will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ SoC.

To know the detailed information regarding the specifications and pricing, Vivo fans now need to wait just for two days as the Vivo S18 series will be making its debut on 14th December in China. Then every detail will be officially revealed.
