Vivo S19 Series Smartphone Launched In China Along With Watch GT Smartwatch

Vivo has finally launched the much-awaited Vivo S19 series in China along with the Vivo Watch GT smartwatch. The standard smartphone comes with features like an AMOLED flat display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, 50MP main camera on the rear. The Pro version of the series comes with a curved AMOLED display, a Dimensity 9200+ 4nm processor, and a 50MP main camera on the rear. Let’s get to know about these smartphones in detail.

The smartphones are available for order in China though they will go on sale on June 7.

Specifications of Vivo S19 smartphone

The Vivo S19 smartphone features a 6.78-inch wide AMOLED display with up to 120Hz refresh rate, 20:9 aspect rate, and HDR technology support. The smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor paired with the Adreno 720GPU. The smartphone packs up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB UFS 3.1 storage. In the camera department, it has a 50MP camera with OmniVision OV50E sensor, f/1.88 aperture, OIS support, and an 8MP ultrawide camera with OmniVision OV08D10 sensor and  f/2.2 aperture. The front side of the smartphone sports a 50MP autofocus selfie camera. It is backed by a 6,000mAh massive battery that supports 80W fast charging. Additionally, you also get to see in-display fingerprint sensors, stereo speakers, and some of the AI features. The smartphone comes in three color options that are Misty Blue, Peach Blossom, and Pine Smoke Ink.

The Pro version of the series does come with some of the pro features. The smartphone features a 6.78-inch wide AMOLED curved display with up to 120Hz refresh rate, 2800 × 1260 pixels resolution, and 20:9 aspect ratio. It also supports an in-display fingerprint sensor and facial recognition for security. The smartphone is powered by a Dimensity 9200+ 4nm processor paired with  Immortalis-G715 GPU. It packs up to 512GB UFS 3.1 storage with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM. The camera department has got a 50MP main camera with  8MP ultra-wide and a 50MP 2x telephoto portrait camera on the rear. The front side of the smartphone sports a 50MP autofocus front camera. It is backed by a 5500mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging. It comes in Gray, Green, and Light Blue shades.

Vivo Watch GT

Vivo’s new smartwatch comes in a square-shaped body made of aluminum alloy and a functional crown made of stainless steel. It features a 1.85-inch wide display that has a resolution of 390 x 450 pixels. It is packed with a number of AI features that we saw in the teaser video. Usually, companies launch a smartwatch with many smartwatch faces and now even lets you customize but this smartwatch lets you generate a watch face by voice command by the AI watch face. Isn’t it cool? The smartwatch AI shorthand feature lets you record your thoughts in real-time by speaking into the watch. The AI Smart Window reads the latest updates on flights, trains, taxis, movies, and medication services, and displays them on the top of the watch face.

In the health suite, you get sensors like heart rate and SpO2 sensors, a sleep tracker, and a menstrual cycle monitor. This smartwatch can also measure stress and detect the noise thus recommending you to move to a quiet place. It comes with over 1oo sports modes and also provides you with a sports coach with modes like basic introduction, fat burning, stress relief, and endurance training. It also comes with NFC support, a quick QR code, and quick cards. It is backed by a 505mAh battery that the company says can last up to 21 days in standby mode. As this smartwatch comes with eSIM support users won’t have to keep the phone with themselves while using it.

Price and availability

As far as pricing and availability are concerned it has been priced at  899 yuan(~$125) for the leather strap option and its soft rubber strap option comes at a price of 799 yuan(~$110). The smartwatch is available for order though the sale will begin from June 14th in China.
