Vivo upcoming X90 series is expected to feature MediaTek Dimensity 9200, Poster Revealed
Vivo has teased its upcoming smartphone with Mediatek Dimensity 9200 processor could be Vivo X90 Pro and might launch in the last week of November 2022. The X90 Pro+, the Vivo X90 series’ premium model, will launch soon and feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 CPU and a high-end camera.
At least one type of the Vivo X90 is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 SoC, which is the company’s flagship chip. It will have Cortex X3 and Cortex A715 cores that were created by Arm, and an Immortalis G715 GPU that will enable hardware-level ray tracing on the new chip.
According to the rumors, the Vivo X90 series will be the first to use the new technology when it debuts. This means that the Vivo X90 series will go on sale before the year is through.
The Vivo X90 Pro+ is currently expected to have a 1-inch image sensor, in keeping with the flagship portfolio’s emphasis on imaging. Other important characteristics can include a 5,000mAh battery and 100W quick charging.
The Vivo X90 and X90 Pro, both of which were originally anticipated to be powered by the upcoming Qualcomm chip, may be impacted by the change, but it is still unknown how. Additionally, the Vivo X90 will be the first non-Pro model of the X series smartphone to be IP-rated; up until this point, only the Pro models featured water and dust protection.
