It appears that Vivo is planning to launch yet another smartphone in the Y77 series. The Tech Outlook has recently spotted a new version of the Vivo Y77 on the Google Play Console listing. This smartphone is named Y77t and carries the model number V2278A. Interestingly, earlier, the same model number was seen with a different name, Y78m, which was recently released in China.
Interestingly, the Vivo Y78, Y78m, and Y77t have the same model number which is V2278A as per the Google Play supported devices list.
Even though they carry the same model number, the specs of Y78 and Y78m differ slightly. While the Y78 is launched with multiple RAM and Storage configurations, the Y78m is launched with a single RAM and storage variant. Now, turning to the Y77t, the Google Play Console listing indicates that it will be powered by Dimensity 7020 (MT6855) same as with Y78 and Y78m. The listing further provides insight that it will feature an 8-core CPU with 2X ARM Cortex (2200 MHz) and 6X ARM Cortex-A55 (2000 MHz). Additionally, the listing reveals that it will come with OriginOS 3 based on Android 13 out of the box, along with 12GB of RAM.
By looking at the listing and specs we can clearly say that it is probably going to be a repackaged version of the already available Y78m in the Chinese market. So let’s take a look at the specs of Vivo Y78m.
