Vivo V40 Pro Spotted On IMEI And UK’s EE Databases; Launch Seems Imminent
In the month of March, Vivo unveiled its latest Vivo V40 SE 5G smartphone in the global market while recently Vivo V40 Lite 5G has also been making rounds over the internet hinting at its imminent launch. Apart from these devices, a new Vivo smartphone has stepped into the rumor mill now.
The Tech Outlook has today spotted Vivo V40 Pro on the UK’s EE website with model number V2347.
The above listing reveals that the smartphone will arrive with 2 variants- one with NFC support and one without NFC support. Other than this the smartphone has also been spotted on the IMEI database.
Though the databases did not reveal much about this upcoming smartphone but the appearance of the device online suggests that the device is currently under work and might soon go on the floors. In the coming days, we might come across some more updates regarding the specs and launch timeline of the device.

The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset and runs on the Android 14 based Funtouch OS 14 custom skin. The device is also coupled with an LPDDR4X RAM of 8GB and UFS 2.2 internal storage.
For its display, the device has an E4 AMOLED display panel with a screen size of 6.67″, a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, and 60Hz ~ 120Hz refresh rate support. The device packs up a triple rear camera setup that includes 50MP, 8MP, and 2MP camera lenses. For selfies, a 16MP front-facing camera is also present.
Regarding its battery, the smartphone is backed by a decently large 5000 mAh battery which supports a 44W fast charging feature. Other key specs include 5G network connectivity, Wi-Fi with 2.4GHz & 5GHz dual band support, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, USB 2.0 connectivity, OTG, in-display fingerprint reader and IP54-rated body.
