Vivo V40 Series Launched In India With Zeiss Branded Cameras And 5,500mAh Battery

Vivo has finally launched the much-awaited Vivo V40 series smartphones in India. This series comprises Vivo V40 and Vivo V40 Pro smartphones. The pro model of the series is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ processor while the standard one is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor. The smartphone comes with the Zeiss-branded cameras and is backed by a 5,500mAh battery.

Vivo V40 series specifications

The Vivo V40 series smartphone features a 6.78-inch wide Full HD+ resolution AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and 4,500 nits of peak brightness. The Vivo V40 Pro smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ processor while the Vivo V40 smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor. 

In the camera department, the Vivo V40 Pro smartphone has a Zeiss-branded triple camera setup on the rear. It features a 50 MP Sony IMX921 sensor autofocus and OIS support, a 50 MP wide-angle camera, and a 50 MP Sony IMX816 telephoto portrait sensor with 2x optical zoom and 50x digital zoom. 

Now coming on to the Vivo V40 smartphone that comes with the dual camera setup with Zeiss branding. It features a 50 MP main camera with OIS support and a 50MP wide-angle camera. The front side of both of the smartphones sports a 50 MP selfie camera. Both of the smartphones run Android 14 out of the box and are backed by a 5,500mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging.

12GB+512GB- Rs 55,999

The smartphone comes in Ganges Blue and Titanium grey shades. The smartphone will go on sale from August 13.

12GB+512GB-Rs 41,999

It is available for pre-booking in Ganges Blue, Lotus Purple, and Titanium Grey colour options. It will go on sale from August 19.
