Vivo V40 Series Teased In India With ZEISS branded Camera And 5,500mAh Battery

Vivo has finally teased the Vivo V40 series which comprises Vivo V40 and Vivo V40 Pro smartphones. As per the official site of Vivo for the India region, the smartphones will come with the ZEISS branded camera module.

It will feature a 50MP ZEISS telephoto portrait camera. The smartphones will come with an IP68-rated body that is slim and durable as well. It will have a comprehensive cushioning structure to shield the device against bumps and knocks from any angle. The series phones are claimed to have undergone rigorous testing.

Now comes the most interesting part in which the company says that this series of phones is the slimmest smartphone in the 5,500mAh battery category.  The Vivo V40 Pro smartphone will come in Ganges Blue along with the Titanium Grey color variant. The Vivo V40 smartphone will be available in Ganges Blue, Lotus Purple, and Titanium Grey color variants. The launch date of the series yet remains unannounced though the page mentions that smartphones will soon be launched.

The Vivo V40 smartphone has already been launched in the European market. The smartphone came with a 6.78-inch wide AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip paired with up to 12GB LPDDR4x RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 2.2 storage.

It is backed by a 5500mAh battery that supports 80W charging. In the camera department, the smartphone has got 50-megapixel f/1.88 primary camera and a 50-megapixel f/2.0 ultra-wide lens on the rear. The front side of the smartphone sports a 50-megapixel f/2.0 selfie camera.  The Indian variant is likely to carry similar features as the Vivo V40 European variant.
