Vivo V40e India Launch Date Confirmed, Pricing for One Memory Variant Leaked

Vivo has already teased the launch of the upcoming Vivo V40e for the Indian market and has also released some of its specs on the microsite. However, the launch date was missing until today. According to Vivo’s official post on platform X, the phone is scheduled to launch on 25th September at 12PM, just a few days before Flipkart’s Big Billion Days sale. Vivo has consistently promoted its V series smartphones through Flipkart, so it is likely that the Vivo V40e will also be available via Flipkart. However, it has not yet been listed on Flipkart’s microsite.

Regarding the specs, we’ve already covered them in our earlier story.

The smartphone will feature a 6.77-inch ultra-slim 3D curved display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 2392×1080 screen resolution, P3 colour gamut, 1.07 billion true colours, HDR10 support, and will arrive with SGS low blue light certification. It will house a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide camera in an Infinity Eye Camera module on the rear panel, alongside a 50MP selfie camera. Camera features include Portrait Mastery, Sony Professional Night Portrait, Aura Light, smart colour temperature adjustment, ultra-stable 4K video recording, AI Eraser, and AI Photo Enhancer. It will be powered by a 5,500mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging, offering up to 98 hours of music playback and 20 hours of YouTube playback. The device is 0.749 cm thick and weighs 183 g. It will be available in Mint Green and Royal Bronze colour options.

In addition to the information on the Vivo V40e microsite, it has been tipped to come with a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC, potentially paired with 8GB RAM and 128/256GB internal storage. Just last night, tipster Abhishek Yadav revealed the pricing of the 8GB + 128GB model to be Rs 28,999, though he didn’t clarify whether this is with or without offers.
