The Chinese leading smartphone maker – Vivo has now confirmed the launch date for its next V50 series smartphone in the Indian market. The upcoming device will be officially unveiled for its Indian consumers next week.

Vivo V50e – Launching on 10th April 2025 in India
Following the February 2025-release of the V50 smartphone, the Indian market was said to soon witness the launch of the V50e smartphone model too in the country, and it is now scheduled to take place on the 10th of April 2025. The brand has also teased this upcoming device as ‘the epitome of luxury’, and more teaser updates are to be shared in the coming days until its official debut in India.
About the already-revealed specs and features, via the landing pages on the brand’s India website and also on Amazon India, Vivo’s V50e smartphone is pointed out to be made available to Indian consumers in two color choices – Sapphire Blue and Pearl White. It will feature a Luxury Design, and will offer a ultra-slim quad-curved display on it for an infinity viewing experience.
On the camera side, the rear panel will sport a Dual Ring Camera Module housing an ultra-wide angle lens (116° field of view) and a Sony Multi-focal Pro Portrait Camera (Sony IMX882 OIS camera sensor). A 50MP Eye AF group selfie camera will also be part of the device. Wedding Portrait Studio (Wedding Portrait Style, Film Camera Mode), 4K video capture (both on front and rear cameras), and underwater photography are few of its other camera features.
In terms of build quality, the device is IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistant, and is SGS Five-Star Overall Unit Drop Resistance-certified (comprehensive cushioning structure + diamond shield glass protection). AI capabilities such as AI Eraser 2.0, AI Transcript Assist, AI Live Call Translate, AI Note Assist, and Circle to Search with Google are all present on the device as well.
