Vivo X Fold 3 Series Specifications, Features, More Camera Samples, and Product Images Officially Shared

Jia Jingdong, the Vice President of Branding and Marketing at Vivo, via his Weibo handle, has officially shared more details about the upcoming X Fold 3 series. This includes details regarding the series’ specifications, other features, more camera samples, as well as the product images. Also to add, he has mentioned in his post that the series is coming soon, pointing to an imminent launch.

Vivo X Fold 3 Series – Officially Revealed Details

Vivo’s X Fold 3 series has firstly been teased as foldable devices that are thinnest(one-side thickness less than the Vivo X5 Max and is 4.75 mm lesser) and lightest(lighter than Apple 15 Pro Max) in design, and which are capable of performing great. The series will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset [vanilla X Fold 3 model – likely Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 as per Geekbench] and is going to be the first to arrive with this processor onboard. A benchmark score of 2.17 million have also been achieved by the series, again ranking first in terms of foldable device performance. On the performance side, better configuration and the self-developed Blue Heart model offers an even faster experience.

Coming to the display, an 8.03″ large Samsung E7 foldable display will be featured, and for better camera capabilities, Zeiss-branded lens, 50MP main camera, powerful periscope telephoto camera, and the brand’s self-developed V3 imaging chip will be present. The camera samples of the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro device have also been given below, which reveals the device’s camera brilliance.

Speaking more about the build, the series apart from the silky smooth hinges and reduced crease, also have the Armor Feather Architecture design with SGS five-star anti-fall certification. The body will also be IPX8 waterproof rated. These industry-first features will let the X Fold 3 series offer better durability and reliability to the users.

The battery equipped within the X Fold 3 series is also an important spec. It is capable of offering a two-day battery life, at the same time is capable of withstanding and performing well in cold temperatures. In related news, China’s 40th Antarctic Expedition Team had visited the Qinling Station at Antarctica, and the X Fold 3 Pro device was reported to have perfectly worked well there and some of its camera samples were shared. A few more Antarctic samples have again been shared now.

The series also has a few other features as well, aimed to improve the productivity of users. The productivity tools will not only enable users to fully use the X Fold 3 series to perform office tasks, but will also let them connect it with other devices remotely to access files and data.

Three product images have been shared as well, revealing the design aspects and the Zeiss-branded camera module. The images also suggest that the series will have White and Black color choices.

A poster image of the Vivo X Fold 3 series was leaked recently with the date of launch mentioned as “26th March 2024”, and now the brand has confirmed it. Alongside the X Fold 3 series, Vivo will also unveil the Pad 3 Pro and TWS 4 devices too on the same day.
