Vivo X100 Pro+ 200MP periscope telephoto lens’ details leaked
Vivo X100 Pro+ (or X100 Ultra) is expected to launch in the second quarter of 2024. It goes without saying that the camera capabilities will be the strongest point of the device. It is said to be one of the first phones to come equipped with Sony’s one-inch LYT-900 50-megapixel primary camera. Another major feature of its camera setup is the periscope telephoto camera. Today, reliable leaker Digital Chat Station revealed some details about it.
According to the tipster, the device will feature a groundbreaking 200-megapixel periscope telephoto lens, approximately 1/1.5-inch in size. In its current engineering state, it boasts a 100mm focal length and 4.3x optical zoom. It is speculated that the final device may offer a remarkable 10x optical zoom along with an impressive 200x digital zoom. The device is also expected to offer excellent mid-focus portrait capabilities with a fusion focal length.
The Vivo X100 and X100 Pro feature a 1.5K resolution display and the Dimensity 9300 chipset. As per reports, the specifications of the upcoming X100 Pro+ will include a 2K screen and the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.
Notably, the X100 Pro+ is also said to arrive with support for satellite communication capabilities, using Unisoc’s V8821 satellite communications SoC chip. This chip is a breakthrough in China, integrating key communication equipment functions such as baseband, radio frequency, power management, and storage.
Apart from the Vivo X100 Pro+, the company is also expected to unveil the Vivo Pad 3 with the Dimensity 9300 chipset onboard in April.
