Vivo X100 Pro+ render emerges to reveal renewed rear design
Vivo X100 series of smartphones is said to be in the works. The company is expected to announce the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro in November of this year. The more powerful X100 Pro+ may debut with the Vivo X Fold 3 in the first quarter of 2024. On Weibo, a Chinese tipster has shared renders of the X100 Pro+ to reveal what to expect from its design.
Before reading ahead, readers should note that these are not actual renders of the Vivo X100 Pro+. In the comments section of the Weibo post, the tipster claimed that there is a high probability that the X100 Pro+ will look like the device shown in the renders.
The mock render of the Vivo X100 Pro+ shows that it will have a huge circular camera module, which nearly occupies the upper half of the back panel. It has four cameras and a ring LED flash. The smaller fourth lens seems to be placed on the left side of the flash unit. The ZEISS logo is placed outside the camera island.
Reports have revealed that the Vivo X100 Pro+ could be equipped with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX989 main camera with variable aperture, a 50-megapixel IMX598 ultra-wide lens, a 50-megapixel IMX758 portrait lens, and a 200-megapixel periscope zoom camera with 10x zoom. The device is expected to come equipped with a 6.78-inch OLED panel with curved edges. It will offer a 2K+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip is likely to power the device. There is a possibility that the device may arrive with up to 24 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The device will come with other features, such as a Vivo V3 imaging chip, an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, OriginOS 4.0-based Android 14, and an IP68-rated chassis.
