Vivo X100 Pro+ to sport glass back, large round camera module
Vivo X100 Pro+ is expected to launch in the second quarter of this year in China. There is uncertainty regarding its name, with speculations about it retaining the X100 Pro+ moniker or adopting the title Vivo X100 Ultra. Despite this ambiguity, ongoing rumours have been steadily disclosing information about the device. In the most recent leak, tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed design details for the X100 Pro+.
Vivo X100 Pro+ design
While the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro offer both leather and glass back options, the new leak states that the engineering prototype of the X100 Pro+ exclusively features a glass back. It appears that the Vivo X100 Pro+ may sport a round camera module like the X100 and X100 Pro. However, due to the inclusion of a more advanced set of camera sensors, the Pro+ may flaunt a slightly bigger camera island.
As per recent reports, the Vivo X100 Pro+ will have a 6.78-inch E7 AMOLED panel that offers a 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will have a 32-megapixel front camera, and its rear panel will have a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-900 main camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide snapper, and a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera. The latter is expected to offer up to 4.3x optical zoom, 10x hybrid zoom, and up to 20x digital zoom.
Under the hood, the Vivo X100 Pro+ will have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and a big battery (exact size not known yet). It will come with support for 100W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and two-way satellite communication.
