Vivo is expected to unveil the Vivo X100 series of smartphones in November in China. Reports surrounding the lineup claim that Vivo phones with model numbers V2309A and V2334A will be called the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro, respectively, when they debut in the Chinese market. The vanilla model has now been approved by the 3C authority of China, which indicates that it will indeed debut in the coming month.
Vivo X100 3C certification
As can be seen in the screenshots, the V2039A Vivo phone has appeared in the database of China’s 3C certification platform. The device may ship with a V12060L0A0-CN / V12060LIH0-CN1 / V12060LIA0-CN / V12060LIH1-CN charger that supports up to 120W fast charging.
Reports suggest that the device will not support wireless charging. On the other hand, the Vivo X100 Pro is expected to offer 120W wired and 50W wireless charging. The X100 may feature a 5,100mAh battery, whereas the X100 Pro will have a 5,400mAh battery.
The X100 and X100 Pro are expected to feature the Dimensity 9300, which may launch on Nov. 6. Both devices are said to have a curved-edge OLED display that offers a 1.5K resolution. Today’s leak by tipster Digital Chat Station suggests that there could be a flat-display version of the Vivo X100, which will also feature a 1.5K OLED display, a D9300 chip, and a 5,100mAh battery with 120W charging.
The Vivo X100 series is likely to go official in the third week of November. It is also being said that the company may unveil it on Nov. 15.
