Vivo X100 spotted on Indonesian SDPPI certification website, global launch seems imminent

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Vivo will be unveiling its latest Vivo X100 series in the Chinese market on November 13. Lately, the brand has been teasing the design and other details of the series while the Vivo X100 series is also confirmed to be powered with MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC.

Ahead of the official launch of this series in China, the Vivo X100 has been spotted on Indonesia’s SDPPI certification website with model number V2308.

Except for the moniker and model number, nothing much is revealed from the listing but the appearance of the device does indicate that Vivo X100 could make its debut in the global markets soon after its debut in China. Back in July we also exclusively revealed to you that the global variant of Vivo X100 5G will be arriving with model number V2308 and now the same has been spotted on the SDPPI website.

A few days back Vivo X100 5G was also spotted on India’s BIS certification website with the same model number along with a mysterious V2309 smartphone which is suspected to be the Vivo X100 Pro model, confirming that the Vivo X100 will be making its debut in the Indian market too.

Vivo X100: Here’s what we know about the upcoming device.

Recently the specs of this upcoming device leaked online, as per which the smartphone is expected to feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display that offers a 2800×1260 pixel screen resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9300 processor that is said to be paired with LPDDR5T RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. It could run on OriginOS 4 based on Android 14.

The device is supposed to be backed by a 5000mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging. It is revealed to pack up a triple rear camera setup that includes a 50MP primary camera (F/1.6), a 50MP Ultrawide camera with OIS support (F/2.0) 64MP periscope lens with OIS support, and 3x optical and 100x digital zoom capabilities. The device is said to arrive with a laser focus system. On the front, it might feature a 32MP selfie camera (F/2.0). Other features include- Bluetooth 5.4, IR sensor, WiFi 7, and compatibility with India’s NavIC system.

The smartphone has also been listed on the JD Mall Shopping platform with a price tag of CNY 3,999 for the 12GB/256GB variant.
