The smartphone brands have already launched their flagship smartphones with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor but Vivo has not yet launched one such. The company can soon launch its first Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 powered phone Vivo X100 Ultra. Earlier there was some confusion around its name It is still not officially cleared but got some clearance with the DCS’ previous claim. Now a new update has come in this regard from the same tipster DCS himself who wrote in a Weibo post “The name of X100 Ultra is confirmed and it will be released in May. It is very strong”. As said we are taking it “strong” for the time being, that the first Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor smartphone by the company will be Vivo X100 Ultra.
And as further mentioned by the tipster the smartphone can be launched in May. This is not the first time when someone has said this. Recently Vivo VP in the comment section of his Weibo post responded with “yes” on being asked about the hope of seeing this phone in May. Apart from the launch date and the moniker a few other information have also grabbed the notice. The Vivo X100 Ultra smartphone is said to come with a large circular camera module and curved edge screen. We can also get to see the Zeiss branding and application of exclusive coatings similar to X100 and X100 Pro smartphones.
