Vivo Y28 5G spotted on Google Play Console website; key specs and design revealed
The smartphone brand Vivo is said to soon unveil a new smartphone under its Y-series called Vivo Y28 5G. This device will be arriving as a successor of Vivo Y27 5G and has already been spotted on the Indian BIS certification website, Bluetooth SIG certification website, and Google Play Console support devices list indicating its imminent launch.
Today our team at The Tech Outlook has spotted the upcoming Vivo Y28 5G on the Google Play Console website with model number V2315.
The database reveals that the upcoming device might be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC and equipped with Mali G57 GPU. Earlier it was assumed that the device would be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC but the above listing now shows that it might be powered by Dimensity 700 SoC. It will run on Android 13 OS and offer 4GB RAM. It will feature a display that offers 720×1612 screen resolution and 300dpi screen density. The Google Play console website also reveals the front and back design of the device.
As per the above image, the rear side of the device features two circular camera rings along with an LED flash. While on the front it features a waterdrop notch for the selfie camera. On the right side volume and power buttons can be seen.
Though the official launch date for this upcoming device is still not known what is surprising is that this smartphone is already listed on Reliance Digital.
The device listed is similar to the one revealed on Google Play Console in terms of design. The listing reveals that the smartphone features a 6.56-inch display. It features a dual rear camera setup of 50MP+2MP and an 8MP front camera. It is backed by a 5000 mAh battery. It offers 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. However, the listing reveals that the device is powered by Dimensity 6020 SoC which differs from what has been revealed through the Google Play Console website. It is suspected that the wrong name of the processor has been listed on the Reliance Digital website or probably it is going to be Dimesity 6020. But its wise to wait for the official confirmation from the brand about it. As per the listing, this smartphone has been priced at Rs. 13,999.
