Vivo Y58 5G Bluetooth SIG certified, expected to launch soon

Vivo’s yet another Y-series phone, the Vivo Y58 5G, has appeared in the database of Bluetooth SIG certification. The moniker of the device suggests that it will succeed the Vivo Y56 5G, which debuted in February last year.

The above listing shows that the Vivo Y58 5G with model number V2355 has received approval from the Bluetooth SIG authority. The listing confirms that it will be a Bluetooth 5.0-enabled device but does not reveal anything else about its specifications.

Hopefully, the upcoming reports will shed details about this mid-range phone in the coming days. As mentioned above, it looks like the Y58 will replace the Y56, which came equipped with the Dimensity 700. With Bluetooth certification under the belt, it appears that the Y58 may break cover later this month or in June in different markets.

The Vivo Y56 5G featured a 6.56-inch IPS LCD panel with a punch-hole design. The screen came with support for an FHD+ resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. It came equipped with a side-facing fingerprint scanner and ran on the FunTouch OS 13-based Android 13.

The device offers 4 GB of RAM, 128 GB of built-in storage, and a microSD card slot via a hybrid SIM slot. On the front, it sported a 16-megapixel selfie camera, and its back panel featured a 50-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual-camera system. The phone was powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging support.
