After its launch in its home market in China, Vivo is now going to launch the Y78 5G smartphone in Singapore and ahead of its launch, the smartphone has now been listed on the brand’s Singapore official website.

The Chinese consumer electronics maker, Vivo has been launching many of its smartphone devices and many are still waiting in line to be launched. Now the brand has listed the launch page of the Vivo Y78 5G smartphone on its Singapore official website, confirming that the device is soon going to be launched in Singapore.
Its specifications have also been listed on its launch page and the smartphone will come equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 695 5G(6nm) chipset which has an octa-core architecture along with an AnTuTu benchmark score of 410,000+. It will also run on the Android 13-based Funtouch OS 13 custom user interface, with a Monochrome icon and UI colours. The device will also be offering its users a total RAM of 16GB(8GB+8GB) and will be having an internal storage of 256GB.
For its display, the device will feature a 6.78″ AMOLED 3D curved display with a screen resolution of 2400 × 1080 pixels(FHD+) and will be having a refresh rate of 120Hz. Its display will also support DCI-P3 wide colour gamut and will have a peak brightness rate of 1300 nits.
Now about its build, the device has a plastic body and will be having a dimension of 164.24 × 74.79 × 7.89 mm and a weight of about 177 grams. The device is also IP54 dust and water-resistant.
Coming to its cameras, the smartphone at its rear will be offering its users a triple camera setup with a 64MP OIS main camera along with two additional cameras of 2MP each. For selfies, a front-facing camera of 16MP will also be offered. The smartphone will also be supporting different camera modes as well which include an ultra stable video mode, a cinematic video mode, a super night mode, a bokeh flare portrait mode and many more.
The device will also be backed by a 5000 mAh battery which will be supporting a fast charge feature of upto 44W.
Two colour variants of the smartphone will also be made available and users can pick from Dreamy Gold and Flare Back colour choices.
