Unlike the previous X100 series of Vivo which was launched in India and initially made available through Flipkart, Vivo India website, and select retail stores, this time’s X200 series will be launched soon both via Amazon and Flipkart, meaning both Amazon and Flipkart will act as Vivo’s X200 series online shopping partners. As mentioned, the landing pages are currently live on both the shopping platforms, revealing certain key specs of the series.
Just like in Malaysia, only the X200 and X200 Pro models are believed to be released in India and the two will come with AI capabilities. The ZEISS imaging support is an important spec teased, and the series will bring out India’s first smartphone with a 200MP ZEISS APO Telephoto Camera (only X200 Pro model). Some of the other telephoto camera features pointed out include Telephoto Portrait, Telephoto Macro, Telephoto Nightscape, and Telephoto HyperZoom.
The MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chip x V3+ chip dual flagship performance system has also been teased, and the series will have India’s first device with a 6000 mAh semi-solid state battery (X200 Pro model; X200 model – 5800 mAh). The quad curved display screen and Funtouch OS 15 custom skin (based on Android 15) are also mentioned on the landing pages.
As of now, the brand hasn’t yet confirmed the India launch date of the X200 series, and we will have to wait for the official announcement. However, the brand seems to tease more specs through the landing pages in the coming days. Stay tuned.
