Vivo’s Y100 5G Smartphone Launched in China: Price Starting at CNY 1,399
The Chinese smartphone maker, Vivo, has finally launched the Chinese variant of the Y100 5G smartphone in its home market in China. The device has been made available in four storage options and three color choices.

Vivo Y100 5G Launched in China
Vivo’s Y100 5G smartphone launched in the Chinese market is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset, and runs on the Android 13 based OriginOS 3 custom skin. The device is also coupled with an LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage, with storage options of 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB, and 12GB/512GB.
For its display, the smartphone features a 6.78″ larger curved OLED display panel with a FHD+ screen resolution, 1300 nits peak brightness rate, and a 120Hz refresh rate.
Coming to its cameras, the smartphone sports a dual camera setup with a 64MP OV64B main camera with OIS support, along with an additional 2MP bokeh lens. The device also has a front-facing camera of 8MP.
Regarding its battery, the smartphone is backed with a 5000 mAh decent battery which supports a 44W fast charging feature.
Speaking about its other specs, it measures 164.42 ×74.92 × 7.49mm/ 7.57mm with glass back, and weighs only 172 grams. To add, the device has an IP54 rated body with an in-display fingerprint sensor.

As mentioned, the Y100 5G smartphone Chinese variant comes in four storage options of 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB, and are priced CNY 1,399, CNY 1,599, CNY 1,799, and CNY 1,999, respectively. Customers will also be able to get the device in three color choices – Starry Night Black, Glazed Blue, and Glaze Green.
