Last month we exclusively shared with you the design and spec details of Galaxy A16 5G while this month in another exclusive report we shared with you that this upcoming smartphone will be making its debut in India in mid-October. And we were correct once again.
Galaxy A16 5G is launching in India on 15th October 2024. The microsite for this device has been made live on Samsung India’s website.
The device can be seen in a gold color option with a bump on the right side which houses volume and power buttons. This smartphone has already been unveiled in global markets, let’s take a look at the specs.
Galaxy A16 5G: Specifications
For its display, the smartphone features a Super AMOLED display with the expected 6.7″ screen size, 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, and 800 nits HBM. On the camera side, there is a 50MP (main, wide) + 5MP (ultrawide) + 2MP (macro) triple rear camera unit and a 13MP (wide) selfie camera.
The device is also backed by a 5000 mAh battery that supports a 25W wired fast charging feature. Other specs include 5G network connectivity, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac with dual-band support, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, NFC (market dependent), USB type-C 2.0, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 7.9 mm thickness, and 200 gm weight.
The global variant is said to be powered by Exynos 1300 SoC while earlier in our exclusive report it was revealed that the Indian variant will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC.
