What to expect in the new Motorola Moto Edge X40

The ever awaited Moto Edge X40 had made its appearance on the Chinese TENAA certification website and with the latest update more specifications of the phone has been made public.

After the launch of the Moto Edge X30 back in December 2021, Moto Edge X40 will come as the next phone to the series. There are some upgrades made by Moto and these upgrades will probably increase the phones performance and the question is what to expect in the new Moto?

Most of the specifications are very much similar to the previous Moto Edge X30. However a new chipset has been given to the new Moto. The latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Soc chipset when compared with the Qualcomm SM8450 Snapdragon 8Gen 1 (4nm) of the previous Moto Edge X30 will be having a much greater performance speed.

The new Moto Edge X40 will also feature a 144Hz 6.67 inch curved OLED screen with ram options from 8GB to 18GB. The phone is also packed with a large storage space with variants from 128GB to 512GB.

The phone will also hold a three camera unit consisting of a 50MP main camera and a 50MP Ultrawide camera with a 12 MP telephoto unit with 2x optical zoom. The telephoto unit is an upgrade to the 2MP depth camera of the Moto Edge X30.

The phone is also backed by a 5000mAh battery supporting 68W fast charge. Moto Edge X40 also comes with Android 13 pre-installed in it.

The Moto Edge X40 is expected to launch soon and the heat of the long wait is soon to end.
