Motorola Edge 40 series has been unveiled in the European market and now one smartphone under the series is ready to make its debut in India. We recently informed you that Motorola Edge 40 has been officially teased to launch in India This upcoming smartphone has been making its appearance quite a few times on the internet. Now Motorola India has officially announced the launch date of this device in the country.
Motorola India via their Twitter account made this official announcement today that the smartphone will be launching on May 23 on Flipkart’s official website.

Like the other Motorola devices, this upcoming device will also be sold via Flipkart and Motorola retail stores. The key specifications of this smartphone have been listed on Flipkart while the other specifications are already known as Motorola Edge 40 has already made its debut in the European market.
Motorola Edge 40: Specifications & Features
The smartphone features 6.55 inch FHD+ OLED display with 144 Hz refresh rate. It is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8020 processor which is paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The device runs on Android 13 OS.
It packs up a 4600mAh battery that supports 68W TurboPower charging and 15W wireless charging. The device features a dual rear camera setup that includes 50MP primary camera with OIS support and 13MP ultra-wide angle camera. It is equipped with a 32MP front camera.
The other features include- a stereo speaker setup with Dolby Atmos audio, an in-display fingerprint scanner, IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. The smartphone is also claimed by the company to be the world’s slimmest device. As we informed you earlier this device features a premium Vegan Leather finish with a metal frame. It will be available in three different colors- Eclipse Black, Nebula Green, and Lunar Blue.
